Location Bangkok – BTS (Hybrid-WFH)

The Company

Cathcart Technology is now looking for a senior data scientist, who is experienced in IoT sensor data analytics, machine predictive maintenance analysis, supply-chain cost optimization, and text analysis to join one of the biggest projects in Thailand.

You will be working on both project management and technical development tasks. Your responsibility will cover requirements gathering, solution design, solution POC, hands-on model development, up until model deployment.

Responsibility:

  • Work in a user-facing position to gather requirements from both internal and external users
  • Lead a team of data scientists in terms of technical supervision, coding review, model performance review
  • Hands-on development of statistical/ML/DL model to tackle with business challenges
  • Model Performance tuning/Feature engineering
  • Work with the operation team to improve the model deployment procedure

Qualifications:

  • 4 - 8 years of experience in Data Scientist/ML Engineer/AI Engineer
  • Good experience with optimization model, sentiment analysis (NLP), maintenance prediction, and other quantitative/statistical analysis
  • Strong team leading experience: coding review, model performance review
  • Good understanding of ML techniques (Regression, Classification, tree-based model, Clustering, SVMs, PCA, Kernel Methods, LDA, QDA)
  • Good understanding of DL use-cases: Computer Vision and NLP
  • Proficient in Python, R for model development
  • Experienced with ML/DL frameworks and libraries (Pandas, Numpy, Scikit-Learn, Pytorch, Keras, TensorFlow)
  • Experience with parallel/distributed/cloud computing is a plus
  • Background experience in oil & gas, manufacturing, production plant industry is a plus
  • Intermediate level of English communication
