Cathcart Technology is partnering with a leading healthcare solutions firm in Thailand to help them find an IT Application Specialist to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a digital initiatives aimed at improving healthcare services and operational efficiency.

 

Role and Responsibilities

As a IT Application Specialist, you will play a key role in implementing and supporting core hospital information systems and enterprise applications. You’ll work alongside IT, clinical, and business teams to deliver strategic digital health solutions across the organization.

You will support both the implementation and enhancement of healthcare applications such as Medical Equipment User Interface, e-Consent System, e-Claim Platform and upcoming projects including Queue Management Systems, Document Management, and SharePoint Online.

In this role, you will also:

  • Collaborate with users and stakeholders to gather requirements, conduct gap analysis, and design workflows.
  • Support software implementation from planning and configuration to testing and go-live.
  • Provide post-implementation support, including incident troubleshooting and documentation.
  • Assist in project coordination and ensure timelines and milestones are met.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience in implementing or supporting HIS or enterprise applications.
  • Strong understanding of hospital workflows, or enterprise software platforms.
  • Hands-on experience in software implementation lifecycle: requirements gathering, system testing, UAT, and training.
  • Basic programming skills in Java, SQL, Python, or similar languages is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with healthcare data standards
  • Solid knowledge of database management, system integration, and IT infrastructure.
  • Experience assisting in project management or software upgrades.
  • Ability to communicate system workflows and translate technical content to clinical or business users.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a detail-oriented and proactive mindset.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced environments and handling critical system incidents effectively.
  • Strong communication skills in both Thai and English
