Based on a recent Cathcart Technology survey, we’re open to all IT candidates to vote on the reasons that make them consider moving to a new job opportunity. Here are the top reasons why IT candidates look for a job change: 

-The first reason was Career growth opportunities, with 19.68% of IT candidates thinking this reason was the most important because IT professionals have high expectations for career advancement. When they feel that there are limited opportunities for career growth in their current job, they may start looking for new opportunities elsewhere. 

-The second reason was the Hybrid working model whether it is able to Work from Anywhere, in a Hybrid Workplace, or can work in Flexible Working Hours. These factors affect the consideration of moving jobs up to 18.78%.  

-And another equally important factor was the Work-Life Balance. Many IT jobs require long hours and high levels of stress, which can lead to burnout and poor work-life balance. Therefore, many IT professionals looking for a job that offers more flexible schedules or better work-life balance with 18.52%  

-Other factors were the company’s technology and products were 16.83%, the company’s financial stability was 16.03% and the company’s structural change was 10.6%.

Top Skills and Qualifications Tech company Look for 

Based on a recent Cathcart Technology survey, we’re open to all tech companies in Thailand to vote on the reasons that make them consider choosing an IT candidate to work with. Here are the top Top Skills and Qualifications Tech companies Look for: 

-Normally, the skills and qualifications that employers look for in candidates will vary depending on the industry, role, and company. However, we conducted the survey by focusing on the participation of tech employers in Thailand to vote on the skills most employers seek to hire the most in IT candidates this year.  

-The results found that problem-solving at 16.99% was a top skill most employers consider important to candidates’ ability to think critically and to solve problems independently or as part of a team. 

-The following skill employers are looking for was Teamwork skills with 15.3% collaborating effectively as part of a team to achieve the projects. This includes being able to delegate tasks, give feedback, and resolve conflicts. 

-Another important skill that employers look for in IT candidates at 15.3% was English Communication skill because nowadays many tech companies in Thailand have employees of various nationalities, giving IT candidates who can communicate and understand English well have an advantage and more job opportunities. 

-Other skills that tech employers are looking for in their IT candidates are Analytical thinking skill was at 14.38%, Communication skill was 13.73% and flexibility skill was 13.07%.

-Overall, tech employers want to hire IT candidates who are not only qualified for the job but also have the soft skills and qualities necessary to succeed in the role and contribute to the organization’s success.
