Which Sectors Are Hiring the Most Technology Talent in Thailand?

Your Opinion

Cathcart Technology Thailand’s recruitment data from 2025–2026 shows IT Services & Consulting leading technology hiring demand, followed closely by Software & Digital Platforms. Together, these sectors accounted for 41% of the roles we worked on.

One possible explanation is their role in supporting technology delivery across multiple businesses. Companies may engage external specialists to implement systems, develop software or support transformation projects, creating hiring demand among technology providers.

Manufacturing ranked third, an interesting reminder that technology careers extend well beyond software companies. This could reflect demand to connect business systems, improve production processes and strengthen operational efficiency.

Systems Integration & Infrastructure also featured prominently. This suggests that the foundations supporting digital services remain an important part of hiring activity alongside newer technology initiatives.

Another observation: Data, AI & Analytics represented a smaller sector category, but this does not necessarily mean limited demand for those skills. Banks, manufacturers and other employers can recruit AI and data professionals within their own industry classifications.

These figures reflect Cathcart Technology Thailand’s recruitment activity rather than the entire market. For technology professionals, they highlight the value of looking across industries when considering their next career move.
