Cathcart Technology is partnering with an international financial solutions company to support the expansion of their professional services team.

They are currently looking for Senior Functional Consultants to join their Bangkok team. This is an excellent opportunity for driven professionals looking to develop their careers in fintech, work on global-scale projects, and contribute to high-impact solutions.

Role and Responsibilities

As a Senior Functional Consultant, you will play a vital role in bridging business needs with technical solutions. You’ll be working on project-based implementations both onsite and offsite, translating client requirements into functional specifications, and supporting the delivery of innovative financial software solutions.

You will:

  • Work closely with clients to understand and analyze business requirements
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications for implementation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including senior consultants, project leads, and development teams
  • Participate in Agile implementation processes and support the project lifecycle from start to finish
  • Provide input on planning, deliverables, risks, and progress to project leads
  • Support training sessions and ensure smooth knowledge transfer post-implementation
  • Join the Consultants Academy Program and receive mentorship from senior consultants
  • Be open to working both locally and on international assignments

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of relevant working experience, ideally in a business analyst or functional consultant role
  • Experience in a client-facing role with strong stakeholder engagement skills
  • Proven expertise in IFRS 9, Basel regulations, and risk management frameworks
  • Knowledge of financial standards and financial software solutions is an advantage
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and
  • Excellent communication and good command of English
  • Passion for technology and the fintech industry
  • Willingness to travel or work internationally as required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Banking, Business Administration, Statistics, or related fields
