Cathcart Technology is partnering with a well-established company in Thailand to appoint a Head of Technology. This senior leadership role is responsible for defining and executing the company’s overall technology strategy, ensuring alignment with corporate vision and business objectives.

You will play a key role in strengthening IT governance and security, driving digital transformation, and enhancing customer and user experiences through innovative solutions and emerging technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute the company’s IT and digital transformation roadmap, aligned with corporate strategy Use technology to improve and expand the company’s product offerings and services
  • Research and adopt emerging technologies (AI, data analytics, blockchain, cloud, Insurtech platforms) to build competitive advantage
  • Lead IT strategy development and execution, ensuring alignment with business needs and long-term growth
  • Oversee IT infrastructure, software development, and business/system analysis teams to ensure efficiency and functionality
  • Make executive-level decisions on technology investments and enterprise-wide solutions
  • Monitor IT KPIs, performance, and budgets to optimize resources and assess effectiveness
  • Supervise enterprise-wide IT security programs, ensuring protection of all digital assets
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to evaluate processes, gather feedback, and implement continuous improvements
  • Communicate the company’s technology strategy to the board, management, and teams across the organization
  • Drive technology-driven innovation to enhance operations and customer engagement

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, IT Management, or related fields
  • Proven experience as a CIO, CTO, Head of IT, or equivalent leadership role
  • 20 years of progressive experience in IT leadership, managing enterprise technology strategies and large-scale teams of over hundreds team members
  • Strong background in software development, databases, IT infrastructure, project management, and business/system analysis
  • In-depth understanding of IT governance, security, and digital transformation frameworks
  • Experience in building and executing technology strategies, including expansion, vendor management, and organizational development
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills, with the ability to influence at executive and board levels
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving aptitude
  • Required Thai and English Speaking skills
