Cathcart Technology is partnering with an international financial technology organisation to find an experienced Delivery Manager to join their growing technology leadership team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within a global environment where technology plays a central role in driving innovation and transformation. The successful candidate will lead complex delivery initiatives, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure large-scale programmes are delivered effectively.

Role and Responsibilities

As a Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for leading large-scale technology delivery initiatives and ensuring teams work collaboratively to achieve strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and coordinating multiple Agile delivery teams to ensure successful programme execution
  • Facilitating collaboration between cross-functional teams across different business units
  • Driving delivery frameworks and best practices to ensure consistent, high-quality outcomes
  • Managing programme risks, issues, and delivery dependencies across multiple teams
  • Acting as the key escalation point for delivery challenges and ensuring timely resolution
  • Working closely with senior stakeholders to align delivery priorities with business goals
  • Supporting teams in adopting Agile delivery practices and improving overall delivery capability
  • Contributing to large-scale technology initiatives including cloud transformation programmes

Required Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role, candidates should bring a strong background in delivery leadership within complex technology environments.

Key requirements include:

  • Proven experience in project or programme delivery, ideally within PMO environments or using SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) methodologies
  • Strong experience facilitating multiple Agile teams and coordinating delivery across complex environments
  • Experience working with distributed teams across different time zones
  • Solid understanding of Agile and Scrum delivery frameworks
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across teams
  • Experience supporting cloud transformation initiatives, ideally within AWS environments
  • Collaborative mindset with a strong team-oriented approach
  • Excellent English communication skills, with the ability to work with international stakeholders
