Cathcart Technology is partnering with the leading IT consulting firm to find thier experienced IT Business Systems Analyst with extensive experience in delivering large-scale, complex systems. In this role, you will bridge business units and IT developers—analyzing processes, gathering detailed requirements, and executing effective IT strategies and solutions. Additionally, you will also provide consultation and share industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and lead workshops and meetings with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, discuss solutions, and obtain feedback, ensuring alignment with business objectives
- Analyze and translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Implement documentation such as use cases, user stories, business flows, business requirement documents and functional specifications
- Work closely with the development team to ensure that they understand the requirements and specifications, and facilitate communication between the team and stakeholders.
- Regularly communicate project progress, issue and risk to the project manager and client’s Product Owner
- Create test procedures, scenarios and cases for testing e.g. functional test and UAT to serve the quality assurance process
- Coordinate and drive the execution of testing with business users
- Develop a training document and application manual for user training
- Identify potential risks and issues early in the project lifecycle and develop mitigation strategies
- Perform post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement and implement lessons learned
- Keep up with trending technologies in assigned industry and improving knowledge and practice
Required Skills and Qualification:
- A minimum of 5-year working experience in Business System Analysis role, with at least 3 years in automotive, insurance, finance industry, or related field
- Strong in Thai and English both conversation and documentation
- Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies including Waterfall, Agile and Scrum
- Strong proficiency in business process analysis, documentation, and requirements management
- Familiarity with technical documents such as ER diagrams, data dictionary, API specifications
- Excellent logical reasoning and critical thinking skills, essential for breaking down complex problems and conveying clear, actionable solutions
- Solid interpersonal and communication skill with all people at all level throughout the project organization
- Work well under pressure and are comfortable with change and complexity in dynamic environments
- Work collaboratively with other consultants, vendors, and clients as a team
- Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Trello, and Confluence
