About the Company & Opportunity
Cathcart Technology is partnering with a growing international technology organisation to appoint a key leadership hire within their Bangkok-based IT function. As the business continues to scale, this team plays a central role in delivering secure, reliable, and scalable technology services across the organisation.
This is a high-impact leadership role where you will own the IT foundation that keeps the business running — from endpoint and identity management to automation, governance, and compliance. You'll define long-term, multi-year IT direction and organisational design while staying close enough to the detail to improve support SLAs, refine automation workflows, and strengthen audit readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and scale global IT support for a distributed, hybrid workforce across multiple time zones
- Define, measure, and continuously improve IT support KPIs (SLA adherence, MTTR, CSAT, automation rate)
- Lead global endpoint and device management strategy, including zero-touch enrolment and compliance policies
- Own identity and access management, including user lifecycle automation, least-privilege models, and periodic access reviews
- Design and maintain IT automation workflows
- Centralise SaaS access, approvals, and license governance to improve security posture and reduce redundancy
- Lead IT compliance and internal audits, partnering with IT Security team on enterprise risk management
- Build and own the global IT budget, manage vendor relationships and contracts, and drive cost efficiency
- Build, develop, and scale a high-performing global IT organisation, presenting IT performance, risk, and roadmap updates to executive leadership
Required Experience & Skills
- 8+ years of progressive IT experience, including 3+ years managing IT teams or leading IT operations
- Hands-on with MDM platforms (e.g. Intune) and modern device deployment at scale
- Experience administering a primary identity provider (e.g. Google Workspace or similar), including user lifecycle automation and access governance
- Track record of building IT automation
- Experience managing IT budgets, vendor contracts, and SaaS license governance
- Solid background across macOS and Windows environments
- Working knowledge of IT compliance and audit processes (SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, or similar frameworks)
- Direct people management experience, including hiring, coaching, and performance development
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Good communication skills in English
