Cathcart Technology is working with a well-established international consulting firm that specializes in delivering enterprise IT solutions for clients in the financial sector.
They are currently seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead the execution projects.
This position offers the opportunity to lead projects that directly support operational excellence, digital innovation, and business alignment across a range of banking and financial applications.
Key Responsibilities As the IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the full project lifecycle—from defining project objectives and scope, to execution, risk control, and final delivery. You will work closely with internal teams, end users, and third-party vendors to ensure that all project goals are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational standards.
Core responsibilities include:
- Establishing detailed project plans, timelines, and budget forecasts
- Overseeing project execution, issue tracking, and resource coordination
- Facilitating alignment between technical teams, end users, and executive stakeholders
- Monitoring performance, progress, and risks using tools such as Jira, Microsoft Project, and Excel
- Leading steering committee meetings and preparing project documentation and reports
- Ensuring compliance with security, data privacy, and governance protocols
- Conducting post-project evaluations and implementing continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications & Experience
- Graduated in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related discipline
- 5 years of experience in IT consulting project management, preferably within the banking, fintech, or financial services domain
- Demonstrated success in delivering enterprise application or cloud/on-premises integration projects
- Proficiency with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery models
- Experience in coordinating diverse stakeholders, both internal and external
- Familiarity with DevOps, ITIL, or service management practices is highly desirable
- Strong communication and leadership skills in both Thai and English
Preferred Experience
- Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile Scrum are considered a plus
- Exposure to financial products and services such as lending platforms, investment tools, or core banking systems
- Understanding of integration frameworks, including APIs, middleware, and cloud platforms
- Experience in emerging technologies (e.g., AI/ML, blockchain, cloud-native architecture)
