Attracting IT Talent: Flexibility and Salary Insights

In the ever-evolving IT recruitment landscape, two factors have become critical for companies aiming to attract and retain top talent: workplace flexibility and competitive salary ranges.

Based on a survey from HR, Talent Acquisition and Hiring Managers across industries, 74% of respondents believe that flexible work arrangements, such as hybrid working models and flexible hours, significantly help in attracting IT candidates. Only 5%  think flexibility has no impact on hiring, while 22% suggest it depends on other factors. This reinforces the growing importance of offering adaptable working conditions as a standard rather than a perk

Meanwhile, salary alignment remains a crucial part of staying competitive in the IT job market. 67% of companies have adjusted their IT salary ranges to better match labour market trends. However, 15% have made no changes, and 18% remain uncertain about whether adjustments are necessary.

In a competitive environment, ensuring that salaries reflect current market expectations is key to securing and retaining the best tech professionals.
